Simultaneous sizing and refractive index analysis of heterogeneous nanoparticle suspensions

In a collaboration with Matz Liebel from Niek Van Hulst's group (ICFO), we developed a straightforward digital holographic platform termed holographic nanoparticle tracking (holoNTA) that characterises heterogenous nanoparticle suspensions by simultaneously quantifying the random motion and the amount of light each nanoparticle scatters.

Influence of cell type on the efficacy of plasmonic photothermal therapy

Our work on determining the efficacy of plasmonic photothermal therapy on different cell types has been published in ACS Nanoscience Au.

Precision calibration of the duffing oscillator with phase control

Our work on phase control to precisly calibrate and characterise the Duffing oscillator has been published in Physics Review Letters.

Levitodynamics enters the world of nanochemistry

In our recent paper, published in ACS Nano, we exploit our high level of isolation and dynamical control of levitated nanoparticles in vacuum to study surface chemistry effects under controlled pressure and surrounding gas composition.

Optical sensor for a pancreas-on-a-chip

In our recent paper, highlighted in Physics Magazine, we interfaced state-of-the-art on-chip LSPR sensing platform together with a biomimetic pancreatic islet-on-a-chip device to monitor insulin secretion in situ.
