Research area
My main research interests are in the development of new methods combining tools from optics, chemistry, microfluidics and computer vision to answer relevant biological questions and characterise nanoparticle systems that remain rather inaccesible by other techniques. My current projects include: the study of cellular secretion, real-time observation of dynamic changes in biological systems; chiral detection and development of optofluidic platforms that leverage on label-free sensing.
